That was helpful - it was a more complete set of installation instructions than I had. In particular, it said to reboot the machine after installation of the drivers. Unfortunately, nothing changed after I rebooted. So I am only assuming that my current drivers are up to date. I admit to being confused, though, because the release dates for the Control Center (i.e., scanner driver - it is an all-in-one machine) and printer driver I downloaded were both in October 2018, and my Control center copyright date is 2016. I guess as long as it continues to work, though, I am OK.
I updated my OS to Catalina this weekend and find myself unable to use the Brother control center that I utilize for scanning/ emailing/ image capture. I have downloaded the latest Mac printer driver and scanner driver but am still unable to open Control Center. Brother site is awful. I need help.
Brother Control Center 2 Mac Download
Brother has a comprehensive support center website with driver downloads for most of its printers. You'll need the model number of your printer before you begin. Search the support center, locating the exact model. The site provides instructions specifically for your printer. It will first ask if you need the Windows or Macintosh driver. Select the pertinent option. 2ff7e9595c
